I am a stay at home mom to Brett, who is 10 and has cerebral palsy, microcephaly, and developmental delay due to lack of oxygen @ birth, all unexpected, because of him, I have learned to be grateful for what I have and not take anything for granted in life....every day is a gift.. I have grown spiritually because of Brett and have so much faith in all the little things I try to accomplish daily... Brett is the most amazing little boy who is ALWAYS happy and smiling all the time, i guess he gets that from me!! it just makes my life easier and worth it when i see that smile on his face, God has given me a miracle and a gift to nurture.. I strive to become a better person everyday and be positive about everything in my life....my motivation to eat and stay healthy for Brett comes from the grace of God...It's all about Brett now, not me...let go and let God....I am a cajun from south Louisiana, cajun country, as it is known!! I am 40, Catholic, and have been married for 15 yrs to a wonderful man, Brett is our only child...i enjoy meeting new people especially parents of sp needs kids, they are the ones that understand what i am going through and I feel blessed to be able to share my knowledge and Brett with everyone!
